Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance (DZCA) naturally has a passion for penguin conservation, as we care for our fun flock of Endangered African penguins. For many years, we've sent our penguin experts to Cape Town, where the Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds (SANCCOB) works to rehabilitate and release penguin chicks. To date, this partnership has led to the release of nearly 6,000 healthy chicks!
